The newest edition of Delmar's Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Test Preparation Manual for the P2 PARTS SPECIALIST certification exam contains an abundance of content designed to help you successfully pass your ASE exam. This manual will ensure that you not only understand the task list and therefore the content your actual certification exam will be based upon, but also provides descriptions of the various types of questions on a typical ASE exam, as well as presents valuable test taking strategies enabling you to be fully prepared and confident on test day.

It is best for you to be well-rested for the test so you will be alert and prepared. It is always better to arrive early to the test location, and late arrivals may be turned away.  Also, bring your test center admission ticket and a current photo ID such as your driver’s license. Storage lockers will be available for your personal items, and cell phones. Your test appointment will begin with a short video to familiarize you with our computer-based testing system. Applicants are scored on correct answers only, so you should try to answer every question as well as you can.
