This ATSG Transmission Overhaul Manual provides all information necessary for transmission disassembly, assembly, diagnosis & testing. This manual is approximately 128 pages and contains ample pictures and exploded view parts diagrams with part names.

The JATCO 5 speed automatic transmission is known as the JF506E in the Jaguar X Type and Land RoverÆs Freelander. In the Mazda 6 and MPV it is known as the JA5A-EL and with VWÆs Golf, GTI and Jetta it is the 09A. Overseas it is known as the 5F1J or the Durashift -5-Tronic transmission used in the Mondeo vehicle starting in 2002.5 model year. It is based on an earlier AG5 transmission used in the 2000 Galaxy which is a fully automatic and electronically controlled front wheel drive transmission.
